Manhattan’s HARLEM (WFCN) –
According to police sources, a teen who had been discovered two days earlier on a park bench in Harlem passed away on Thursday.
Just before midnight on June 18, officers discovered 16-year-old Tresaun Clements unconscious near West 149th Street and Bradhurst Avenue.

Clements was on a park bench when PIX11 News was informed by law enforcement sources that he was not visibly hurt. After being brought to a hospital, he was declared brain dead.

Clements was declared deceased on Thursday, according per police reports. According to the police, the investigation is still underway and no one has been taken into custody.

The teenager’s identity has not yet been made public by the authorities while the teenager’s nearest of kin have been notified. According to sources, local law enforcement is currently looking into the circumstances surrounding his health and how he ended up unconscious on the park seat.
The local community and the young boy’s family have been profoundly impacted by the news of his death. An unnamed neighbor remarked, “It’s heartbreaking to hear about such a young life lost.” “My thoughts go out to his family during this incredibly difficult time.”
While offering the family its condolences, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) has not yet provided any other information on the event. An NYPD spokesman said, “Our thoughts are with the deceased’s loved ones as they navigate through this tragedy.”
