According to the news, Shinhoster allegedly came up to Gonzalez on her front porch on Northwest 11th Street brandishing a revolver and shot her as she held her infant.

A mother and her infant daughter were discovered lying on the porch, both of them unhurt, after Gonzalez was shot in the head, according to the report.

Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries after being evacuated to Jackson South Medical Center.

Shinhoster evaded capture at first but was apprehended in the end.

The report indicated that Shinhoster and Gonzalez’s daughter had stopped their nine-month relationship two months before to the shooting.

The investigation stated that ever since then, Shinhoster had been in constant contact with Gonzalez over her daughter, threatening her and claiming that she would be unable to be with anyone else unless she remained with him.

It was anticipated that Shinhoster will be sent from the Juvenile Detention Center in Miami-Dade County to the adult prison.
