West Side Gas Station Gathering Ends in Gunfire, Leaving 15-Year-Old and Four Others Shot

Chicago – There was a big party at a gas station on the city’s West Side, when five individuals were shot, including a 15-year-old girl.

A Shell station located in the 900 block of North Pulaski in the Humboldt Park area was the scene of a shooting on Monday morning at approximately 12:45 a.m.

Following reports of shooting, police stated they discovered many victims of gunshot wounds.

The huge gathering of people and the seconds before the gunshots were heard were caught on camera by the gas station’s surveillance systems. A vehicle was seen dragging a person, as seen on camera.

Soon later, officers with their weapons drawn and others outfitted in riot gear came at the area.

An injured 15-year-old girl was sent to Stroger Hospital in critical condition after being shot in the neck, according to the police.

Two gunshots to the back wounded an 18-year-old girl, who was taken in fair condition to Mount Sinai Hospital. Having been shot in the arm, the 19-year-old female was taken to Mount Sinai and her status is currently described as fair.

A thirty-five-year-old guy was shot in the foot and was taken in fair condition to St. Mary’s Hospital. Following a bullet wound to his buttocks, the 25-year-old male was sent to Stroger in stable condition. Transported to St. Mary’s in fair condition, the 33-year-old female patient had a broken ankle.

Bullet pierces window of Southwest Side home, wounding 14-year-old girl. An offender fired a gun at the victims, according to the preliminary investigation, and then fled the area on foot.
