Numerous residents blamed the restaurant’s exorbitant costs for its demise, even though “unforeseen circumstances” was officially cited as the explanation.
According to a Facebook commenter who shared the news of the restaurant’s closing, the “overpriced and has been for a long time” pricing of its food was a big reason in its downfall.
A different poster on the shutdown post chimed in, saying that the Spokane site was “way overpriced” and that Jersey Mike’s was a better deal.
