A 4-year-old Torrance child who had gone missing was discovered unharmed on Friday after spending the night in the woods.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office reports that the kid, Christian Ramirez, was camping at the Rancheria Campground in Huntington Lake with his family.
The boy vanished on Thursday just before 11 a.m. Before contacting the police to request assistance, the family spent nearly an hour searching the neighborhood.
There were no traces of the youngster when more than fifty volunteers, deputies, and members of the rescue crew arrived at the campground and started looking for him into the night.
The youngster was found by the Tulare County Search and Rescue Team at 8 a.m. the next day, approximately 0.5 miles from his reported disappearance site. He was discovered tucked beneath a tree.
Though the youngster was found in fair condition, the authorities stated he was hungry and exhausted. He had been alone for almost twenty-two hours in a place where authorities claim there is hazardous fauna and challenging topography.
The youngster was seen being taken out of the bush and into safety on the rescue’s video. After receiving a lunch and clad in only a t-shirt and shorts, he was eventually reunited with his anxious parents.
