CNN reports that Red Lobster is getting ready to close its fifth location in Maryland.
The seafood firm filed for bankruptcy back in May, citing declining cash flow as one of the reasons for its $1 billion debt.

50 sites were closed by the restaurant as a result, four of which were in Maryland (Columbia, Laurel, Gaithersburg, and Silver Spring).

According to CNN, Red Lobster in Salisbury could close if the judge grants their bankruptcy petition.

If such plans proceed, dozens of other facilities would also be targeted for closure, including two in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and adjacent Alexandria and Fairfax, Virginia.
There are currently more than 500 Red Lobster locations across the country, with a number of them being in the Maryland communities of Hanover, Owings Mills, Nottingham, and Annapolis.
