An Arkansas grocery store saw a mass shooting on Friday that left three people dead and ten injured, according to the authorities.
The defendant will face charges of capital murder, according to Arkansas State Police, after being shot by law police.
As early as 11:30 a.m., police were called to the Mad Butcher grocery store shooting in Fordyce, which is roughly 70 miles south of Little Rock.
Authorities reported that three citizens were murdered, eight were injured, and some were in severe condition.
Additionally, two law enforcement officials were shot; according to police, their injuries were not life-threatening.
Police said that the lone suspect was shot by law enforcement and was being treated for non-life-threatening wounds in addition to the 13 other individuals who were slain or injured.

The suspect is being held at the Ouachita County Detention Center. Travis Eugene Posey, 44, of New Edinburg, has been identified by the Arkansas State Police. Three counts of capital murder will be brought against him, and further charges are expected, according to the police.
