A number of people are opposed to the major grocery chain’s plans to acquire its main rival, and the FTC has taken legal action to stop the merger.
The firms’ supply chains will allow new items to reach consumers who did not have access to them before, and the combined strengths of the two companies will strengthen the purchase, according to proponents of the merger.
Just picture yourself shopping at a single supermarket where you can find the high-quality meats from Albertsons and the unique produce from Kroger, all in one convenient location. I truly doubt that even if such a location existed, not a single client in the nation would give a hoot about the name on the front.
