Chicago – Following the discovery of roughly 62 pounds of cocaine by DEA officials at baggage claim, a 27-year-old Indiana woman was taken into custody at Chicago Midway International Airport last Thursday.
Following Chania R. Logan’s arrest on Tuesday, June 4, authorities said Cook County prosecutors recommended charges of possession of a prohibited substance with the intent to supply and trafficking in controlled substances for Logan, 27.
Logan’s suitcase and the luggage of the companion she traveled with from Los Angeles to Midway were allegedly intercepted by a number of DEA Chicago Division enforcement officers.
