Washington, USA —
Hunter Biden is no longer permitted to practice law in Washington, D.C., according to a filing made by the chief judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals on Tuesday.
Chief Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby declared the suspension to be “immediate” after a federal jury in Delaware found Biden guilty of federal firearms charges. It is against federal law for someone who uses controlled substances inappropriately to acquire or own a firearm.
The president’s son was found guilty on three felony counts pertaining to his 2018 gun purchase during his crack cocaine addiction.
The court ruled that Biden’s right to practice law in the district should be suspended due to the “serious crimes” committed.
