The police in Northeast D.C. are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual they believe is linked to a triple shooting incident that occurred last month.

Police in the Greater London Area have confirmed that the incident occurred on June 30.

Responding to reports of gunfire in the 6100 block of Banks Place, Northeast, police arrived on the scene shortly before 1 a.m. They discovered the bodies of three women shot when they got there.

They rushed all three women to nearby hospitals, where doctors say they have a good chance of survival.

The shooter allegedly fled the scene of the crime, say investigators. In the area, surveillance cameras caught a glimpse of the alleged gunman. Officials requested the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in question after releasing photos of them on Wednesday.

Nothing has been said about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or the purpose.
