Fayetteville, North Carolina: The city is incensed about a video that seems to show a Fayetteville K-9 officer striking his dog.

The Walgreens on Village Drive and Owen Drive is where it happened. An unidentified Fayetteville police K-9 officer can be seen repeatedly striking his K-9 in the footage. What transpired before to the beginning of the footage is still unknown.

“It’s truly devastating,” Fayetteville resident Shirley Meskill remarked. “You wouldn’t treat animals that way. According to my philosophy, you shouldn’t do anything to humans or animals that you wouldn’t want done to you.”
