DC Police Release Surveillance Photo of Suspects in Southeast Stabbing

WASHINGTON —

Two weeks ago, there was a stabbing in Southeast Washington, D.C., and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is requesting assistance in identifying the individuals seen on camera.

On Wednesday, May 29, at 10:57 in the morning, someone was stabbed in the 1500 block of Savannah Street, Southeast. The victim was brought to a neighboring hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the suspects left.

A frightening event involving a stabbing victim in Southeast Washington, DC, prompted local law enforcement to act immediately. The victim suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident, which took place at a location that will not be revealed.

The incident was quickly investigated by DC Metropolitan Police, who also made public a CCTV image of people they believe were engaged in the crime.
