Big Gunshot Wound! Police Identify 18-Year-Old Woman as Victim in Fatal Dublin Apartment Shooting

Columbus, Ohio –

An eighteen-year-old lady was shot and killed early on Saturday morning at an apartment complex close to Dublin, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

In response to a complaint of gunfire at Tuttle Crossing Mall, police were dispatched to the Karric Place apartments located in the 6000 block of O’Sweeney Lane, directly east of the mall. On arrival, they discovered a woman—later identified as Kiara Nelson—with what seemed to be a gunshot wound.

Two people were arguing inside one of the flats, according to early accounts. Nelson tried to step in and was shot, according to the police.

With critical conditions, Nelson was brought to Riverside Methodist Hospital. Less than two in the morning, she was declared deceased.

I simply hope that there would be less hate and more love in the world. Saksa expressed sadness over the fact that ordinary people had become accustomed to it.

After residing on Columbus’ east side, she moved into the area.

It felt like I was there for a moment because it was an everyday occurrence there, even though we had fought extremely hard to get to this side of town in order to feel secure. It was insane that every night when you heard them, you would go outside onto the front porch because you had no idea where they were coming from,” the woman remarked.

According to Saksa, she has never experienced problems in the apartment building.

Except for a few reported cases of stolen cars, 10TV’s Crimetracker 10 map indicates almost little crime in the neighborhood during the past year.
