On Saturday, July 6, Publix intends to close its store in the Lake Miriam Square complex in order to start a complete renovation. The 4730 S.
Florida Ave. shop will be completely demolished and rebuilt, following in the footsteps of the recently completed renovation of the Oakbridge Centre Publix on Harden Boulevard. By summer 2025, as per the present project schedule, you should be able to browse the brand-new aisles.
A larger retail footprint, measuring 63,830 square feet, which is 4,297 square feet more than the current one, will comprise the area formerly occupied by the Mezzine of the Aprons Cooking School, which will have a seating area for patrons.
In the former nearby shop area, there is a new liquor store and pharmacy.

Many other companies, such as Glam Color Bar, Gosh! Asian Bistro & Sushi, and SoFresh, are located in Lake Miriam Square, so we assume it will continue to operate as usual.
Some stores in the center remained open during the remodel of the Oakbridge Publix, so while construction is underway, keep a look out for updates from your favorite local establishments.
