Phoenix, Arizona —
Authorities in Arizona announced on Monday that a woman was saved 36 hours after her automobile plunged approximately 200 feet down an embankment.
Around eight in the morning on Saturday, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) deputies responded to a report of an accident on Castle Hot Springs Road, approximately ten miles north of Lake Pleasant. They discovered the automobile and its driver stranded.
According to YCSO, the woman was dragged up to the road and first responders went down to save her.
After becoming stuck on the Salt River, more than 100 passengers were saved.

36 hours prior to the rescue, the woman claimed to have crashed, according to YCSO.

She had non-life-threatening injuries, and the YCSO stated that she was able to subsist on the water and snacks she had in her car.
After receiving dehydration treatment, the woman was brought to a hospital in Phoenix.
There was nothing further to be found.
