The ability to work from home and a higher salary don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
Although the proportion of remote work chances for high-earners may have decreased after 2022, there are still a large number of flexible positions in great demand that pay in the six-figure range.
Between March 2023 and March 2024, the number of remote job vacancies on the well-known job search site Indeed increased by 40%. Real estate analyst and telemedicine physician are two positions with a lot of job listings that pay above $100,000.
According to recent research from FlexJobs, the most sought-after six-figure remote jobs that employers are searching for are those in sales, marketing, and technology.
Between December 2023 and May 2024, FlexJobs’ website had nearly 30% more full-time, remote job ads in these fields:
Three positions in these categories that pay at least $100,000 and provide plenty of full-time opportunities have been chosen by FlexJobs to assist remote workers in finding the top high-paying positions.
1. Product manager: $106,812 is the average wage.

Spencer says that applying for employment in the summer may increase your chances of getting a remote position because some of your competitors may be taking a break from their search.
Spencer suggests networking with staff members at the organizations on your target list to make your remote job application stand out, no matter what time of year it is.
“You want to build relationships with people doing the type of work you hope to be doing on the teams you hope to work on someday,” he continues. “Having an established rapport with your potential boss or colleagues can give you a huge advantage.”
