SEATTLE, WASHINGTON –
The suspect in an early Monday morning drive-by shooting in downtown Seattle needs to be identified, according to the Washington State Patrol.
When state troopers arrived at the scene at 12:10 a.m., a 911 caller reported that he had been fired at while traveling to the northbound I-5 on-ramp close to Columbia Street.
The caller had stopped at James Street to wait for police, but he was unharmed.

When the troopers got there, they saw that the victim was driving a black four-door sedan with many bullet holes and a broken window.

The victim stated that he heard loud pops and saw the window break as he was on Columbia St. and about to turn onto the on-ramp to northbound I-5.
The make and model of the suspect car, as well as the suspect’s license plate number, are unknown.
