From Washington, DC On Thursday, D.C. police reported the arrest of a man in connection with the April shooting death of a 19-year-old in the nation’s northeast.
At at 9:05 p.m. on April 30, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) were dispatched to the 1500 block of North Capitol Street NE.

Dequan Garner, a 19-year-old from Northeast, was discovered wounded on the sidewalk from gunshots.

Because of that, he passed away.
Over two months following the incident, authorities apprehended 45-year-old Maurice Corbin on Thursday.
Armed first-degree murder was one of the charges against him.
