A fireworks barge in a seaside town in Massachusetts went up in flames on Wednesday, the day before the much-anticipated annual Fourth of July fireworks display. The footage was shot on super high definition.
This has led to the cancellation of the show by the authorities.

Late Wednesday night, a barge off Marblehead’s northern shore caught fire, according to a post by Marblehead Fireworks and Harbor Illumination on social media early Thursday morning.
The waterside fire and its strong plumes of smoke are seen in video released by Boston 25 News, which shows a boat passing by.
On Thursday around 9:15 p.m., local officials announced that the barge would be utilized during a fireworks display in Marblehead Harbor.

The Fire Marshal has ordered that our vendor cannot let off any pyrotechnics until the cause of the barge’s fire has been determined, as Marblehead pyrotechnics and Harbor Illumination pointed out in a social media post.
Authorities from Marblehead Fire Department and the Marblehead Harbormaster were among those who responded.
Multiple agencies were dispatched to the area, including Marblehead Fire, Beverly Fire, the Massachusetts Environmental Police, and the United States Coast Guard.
The fire’s origin is still being probed.
