Drive Up, Order Pickup, and same-day delivery will be available at all three of the new stores. They will also have a Starbucks café and a CVS pharmacy. Target is also expanding the number of shop-in-shops it has: Ulta Beauty at Target will be located in each of the stores in Pennsylvania and Missouri.

In an effort to reach even more customers, Target intends to open more than 300 more shops over the course of the next ten years, the three new locations being the most recent.

The business is improving its online strategy in addition to reaching out to more customers in-store. Target just announced that it will be integrating with Shopify, a worldwide e-commerce platform, to provide customers even more options when they shop at Target.com.

Through Target Plus, its third-party digital marketplace, the retailer will provide a variety of well-known Shopify merchants and products.

The business also stated that it was happy with the initial outcomes of the Target Circle rewards program’s revamp, which debuted in April and included a premium membership option. In only the first quarter, Target added more than a million new users to the platform.

During the company’s recent earnings webcast, A. Christina Hennington, EVP and chief growth officer, stated, “We are just getting started and are very encouraged by the strong response.”

With almost 2,000 outlets, Minneapolis-based Target Corp. is ranked No. 7 on Progressive Grocer’s PG 100, its 2024 ranking of the best food and consumables retailers in North America. The business was listed by PG as one of its Retailers of the Century.
