WFCN – At four senior living facilities in Chicago, the senior giveaway will begin on Friday. Only the owners of these residences will be able to attend the event. Dr. Wilson made the announcement about the $200,000 donation to help fund the project.
The following is the senior giveaway schedule:
- 9401 South Stony Island, Montclare of Calumet Heights, 9:00 a.m. (100 residents)
- 7925 South Chicago, Haven of Rest Senior Housing, 9:30 a.m. (70 residents)
- At Montclare of Avalon Park, 1200 East 78th Street, at 10:00 a.m. (150 residents)
- 10:30 a.m. at Eden’s Supportive, 7156 South Dorchester, where there are one hundred inhabitants.
- A limited number of petrol stations and food stores will host the gas and grocery giveaway on Saturday, first come, first served. food store participants will receive a $25 food card that needs to be used that same day, while gas station participants will earn $50 in free petrol.

- Dr. Wilson gave his justification for the project, pointing out the widespread economic difficulties people confront.

Illinois and the nation’s household budgets are suffering due to skyrocketing inflation and soaring food and fuel costs.
According to him, individuals are becoming more and more dependent on credit cards and food pantries in order to pay for necessities like housing, food, healthcare, transportation, and taxes. “I am proud to partner with senior homes, grocery stores, and gas stations, to provide for our residents.”
