Three Individuals Face Charges Related to Cocaine Trafficking During A North Versailles Arrest

North Versailles, Pennsylvania —

The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that three males were taken into custody following a traffic check in North Versailles. They are being charged with cocaine trafficking.

The sheriff’s office reported finding 15 kilograms of suspected cocaine during a search of the men’s vehicle. Two of the men were from Florida and one was from New York. They were then brought to the Allegheny County Jail.

On Tuesday, police allegedly uncovered clues that a white SUV may be concealing a “significant” quantity of cocaine, according to the sheriff’s office. After locating the car, detectives in North Versailles pulled it over for a moving offense.

According to the sheriff’s office, detectives noted that the males inside seemed anxious during the traffic encounter. A K-9 from North Versailles found drugs inside their vehicle after they given permission for a search of the outside.

After detectives discovered that none of the guys inside had valid driver’s licenses, they detained them despite the men’s denial of permission to check the vehicle.

The sheriff’s office reported that following the execution of a search warrant, the police discovered a bag containing suspected drug paraphernalia and packing supplies, as well as fifteen individual kilogram-sized packets of cocaine.

Arraignment on charges of possession, possession with intent to deliver, and conspiracy was held in the Allegheny County Jail. Florida residents Alcedo Espinal, 38, Yasser Collado Feliz, 34, and Guillermo Hernandez, 48, were hauled there.
