Three people are wanted by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) for firing at a woman on Monday, May 27, according to video camera evidence.
Around 4:40 p.m., a gang approached the woman while she was sitting in her car in the 4300 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue. As they were shooting at her, the woman managed to get inside her car and one of the suspects pulled out a revolver. She did not sustain any wounds.

The inhabitants of Northeast D.C., who are disturbed by the shooting, have given the publication of the CCTV photographs a great deal of attention. Authorities in the community have backed the police efforts and urged people to help with the inquiry.
“It’s unsettling to know that such violence can occur in our neighborhood,” said a local resident. We’re hoping that these images may help quickly apprehend the offending parties.
