Search continues for man who stabbed woman from behind during broad daylight in East Hollywood

The man who authorities think stabbed a lady from behind in East Hollywood earlier in January is still at large.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, it occurred on January 18 at approximately noon, close to the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Edgemont Street.

The moments when the suspected suspect quickly comes up behind a woman crossing the street are captured on recently released video.

As she walks with two other people, he is seen stabbing her twice before continuing on Santa Monica Boulevard in the direction of a local Metro station.

According to authorities, the victim, who remained anonymous, was admitted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have issued a picture in the hopes of identifying the individual.

He weighs about 180 pounds and is about 5 feet 6 inches tall. He has brown eyes and black hair.
