Scam Notices Circulate in Miami-Dade: Residents Urged to Beware of Fake Water Tests

WFCN –

Inhabitants of Kendall and South Dade are finding flyers at their doorsteps offering water testing services, possibly from businesses aiming to promote water filtration systems.

According to the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, these notifications are unrelated to them, and it is unnecessary to utilize water filters to enjoy Miami-Dade’s exceptional quality drinking water.

Customers who have questions about their drinking water or want to request a free water test can call Miami-Dade’s water department.

WASD Director Roy Coley stated that the water in Miami-Dade County is exceptional and complies with all the established national regulations for drinking water.
