Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash on 110 Freeway in downtown LA

Early on Wednesday morning, a car struck a pedestrian on the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, killing the pedestrian.

The California Highway Patrol reports that it occurred on northbound lanes close to Wilshire Boulevard at approximately 5:20 a.m.

According to officers, the victim, an unnamed guy, was struck by a car while he was crossing the roadway from the right shoulder to the center divider.

According to CHP officials, a SigAlert was issued shortly after 5:30 a.m. and was prolonged until just after 9 a.m. The motorist left the site of the collision rather than stopping to assist the man, and they are still looking for him.

The man’s reason for being on the freeway is unknown.

Authorities named the victim as Ramoncito Formoso, age 31, on Thursday. Why the individual was on the freeway at the time of the collision is unknown.
