Following a military helicopter’s emergency landing at Camp Pendleton on Friday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol issued a warning to motorists about potential traffic delays along the I-5 Freeway.
It touched down on the northbound side of the freeway, close to the Aliso Creek Rest Area.
After making the emergency landing, the chopper caught fire. It was unclear at first whether anyone was hurt.
