WFCN – Jesus Mestizo-Soto, whose last known address was in Suitland, has been identified by investigators as the individual who was discovered earlier this week in the Langley Park area with a fatal gunshot wound.
Following a call to the 1400 block of University Boulevard, Mestizo-Soto was discovered deceased outside an apartment building by Prince George’s County Police Department officers.
After Mestizo-Soto’s body was brought to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, an autopsy was performed on Thursday and it was determined that he had been murdered and that a gunshot wound was the cause of death.

The authorities have not disclosed any details regarding a suspect or their motivation.
