After prosecutors accused a 42-year-old doctor with many charges linked to the sexual assault of an unconscious lady, detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department made the doctor’s photo public.
Babak Hajhosseini, a physician who most recently worked at Wound and Burn Centers of America and Catalina Island Health, was identified by investigators as the suspect.
Hajhosseini was charged with eight felonies by the LA County District Attorney, including oral copulation of an unconscious or sleeping victim, sodomy, and rape.
According to LAPD investigators, Hajhosseini used recruiting websites to promote lucrative job openings in an attempt to find possible victims. It is said that he would ask the possible victims to work extra hours at his house before forcing them to consume alcohol. Authorities claim that Hajhosseini persuaded a woman to drink alcohol in at least one case. Investigators said the 42-year-old doctor reportedly sexually abused the lady and recorded the event after she passed out.
On November 29, he posted bond after being arrested on November 26.
