According to a recent state filing, Yankee Candle Inc. will be shutting down its distribution center and offices in South Deerfield, Mass., on September 9th.

About one hundred workers will be let off by Yankee Candle’s parent firm, Newell Brands.

According to Boston.com, Newell Brands has now revealed the closing date of the 27 Yankee Candle Way offices, after initially announcing the reduction in January of last year.

Keep in mind that the building is still operational, but it will now be used as a secondary warehouse for Yankee Candle and other products from the Newell Brand.
