Painful layoffs affecting employees across various departments and geographies have been announced by a big corporation in Washington.

Another round of layoffs has been announced by the software giant from Washington State this week, marking Microsoft’s tenth round of staff reductions for the year.

A number of Microsoft employees have gone on social media in the last day to reveal that they were laid off.

There has been no official word yet on how many people would be laid off or whether they are among the 1,500 expected to lose their jobs in June.

Four employees have announced their resignation, according to Insider Gaming.

In an email to friends and colleagues, Microsoft’s Angela Viness wrote, “Hello – I am currently seeking new professional opportunities after losing my job at Microsoft as a result of the company’s recent layoffs.
