In a small rural hamlet in Texas, a woman decided to accept a stray dog into her home when she wouldn’t leave the property.
A touching video of a Great Pyrenees puppy settling in and following its owner about the garage was uploaded to TikTok in June by the user forfray. The dog seemed to know her owner better than anybody else.
“The mechanism for distributing dogs deceived us! “If she stays, what should we call her??” reads the caption that accompanied the trending photo.

I asked in the Facebook group for our little town whether anyone knew who she belonged to, but the only responses I received were from people who had seen her while she was out and about; nobody had any idea of her residence or her family’s situation.
The sightings of others led us to believe that she had been evading capture for more than a month. About eight miles away from us, another woman commented in the same Facebook group about seeing the same dog on her property, so it’s clear they go quite far!
This happened around seven and a half days after our last encounter with her. It is well-known that Great White Pyrenees roam freely.
Great Pyrenees are ideal guard dogs, and Frazier said in the video that she was prepared to bring the puppy into her home to take care of her farm animals.
They are more than guard dogs; they are guardians, according to the American Kennel Club. In truth, they are naturally gentle and patient with weaker creatures, and their inclination is to guard and care for the flock, despite their massive size.
