The announcement that Texas will be hosting the fifteenth biggest American firm (ranking in the top ten on the Fortune 500 list only twelve months ago) by year’s end also comes with the revelation that the entire operation, including all personnel and operations, must be relocated within five years.
Because not everyone in the workforce is likely to desire to relocate to Texas, this bodes well for the Bayou City’s employment market, as there will likely be coveted corporate roles available.
And with the relocation of another huge American corporation to Houston and Texas, the Lone Star State is sure to become an even more desirable place for top-tier talent to settle down.
