The research on the birthplaces of the American athletes participating in the 2024 Olympics in Paris reveals that 35 competitors hail from Florida, making it the second most represented state after California, which boasts 123 athletes.
Among the Olympians participating in Paris and originating from Miami are:
Angelica Delgado, who is set to compete for a medal in Judo.
- Ashleigh Johnson, the champion who has won gold medals twice in Water Polo
Fred Kerley, who will participate in the 100 meters and 200 meters races.
- Daniella Ramirez, a synchronized swimmer with a lineage that spans three generations,
Dominique Stater, a newcomer to the Olympics in the sport of Sailing, is a former student of Asociación Escuelas Lincoln.
- Twanisha Terry, a newcomer to the Olympics, is participating in Track and Field for the first time.
