Fires and wind cause Southern California freeway and highway closures; what’s closed

Numerous freeways and highways in affected Southern California locations have been closed due to fire and wind conditions.A list of all freeways and highways that were closed as of Wednesday morning was supplied by Caltrans.

Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst wildfires, as well as wind-related accidents, are the reasons for closures.

There are currently no state highway closures.

Azusa

There is no fire here, but as a precaution, State Route 39 (San Gabriel Canyon Road) is closed north of Azusa; only locals have access.

Winds and power failures may cause a number of traffic signals to go out. Drivers are reminded by Caltrans to consider signals as stop signs when they are dark or blinking red. Treat the absence of a signal light as an all-way stop.
