County of Prince George’s, Maryland – Prince George’s County police are still investigating the death of a man who was shot outside a liquor store, shocking the neighborhood and raising concerns among the public. Just as customers were frequenting the well-known neighborhood business, something happened on Tuesday night in the 5600 block of Silver Hill Road.
A complaint of gunfire was received at about 8:30 p.m., according to the Prince George’s County Police Department. They arrived and found a man who had been shot many times, down on the sidewalk. The deceased was declared dead at the site, even though emergency care workers responded quickly.
More than one gunshot was heard, and witnesses saw the culprit run away from the scene. Police have not yet provided a thorough description of the culprit, and the victim’s identity has not been made public until next of kin has been notified.
