Located on the 6500 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach, Watch Me! Sports Bar pays tribute to female athletes and their accomplishments.
Mean Eddy, co-owner of Watch Me, expressed, “As we gaze upon the vast crowd, we understand that the demand is present.” “It has been a project filled with passion and dedication.” We have poured our hearts and souls into this project for countless months.
Eddy and her partner, Jax Diener, established the sports bar in response to a lack of venues that prioritized women’s sports.
Diener expressed that they believe they are carrying a heavy load on behalf of numerous women. “Opening up a space for everyone to come together and honor women’s sports and athletes is a significant achievement.”
The title “Watch Me” symbolizes the need for female athletes to demonstrate their abilities to skeptics in order to earn recognition. Bars specializing in women’s sports have shown to be quite prosperous.
