A fatal shooting that occurred in Boyle Heights on Sunday is being looked into by police.
At around 3:10 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department received reports of gunfire in the vicinity and dispatched officers to the area of E. Seventh Street and Euclid Avenue.
When police arrived, they discovered the unidentified victim with a deadly gunshot wound.
As the investigation progresses, investigators report that a suspect, a male who weighs 160 pounds and is around 5 feet 10 inches tall, was observed driving east on Seventh Street in a blue or black Honda Accord.
The victim’s body was covered by a canopy on the side of the road as SkyCal flew over the gunshot scene. The shooting took place close to the SR-60 Freeway and Sunrise Elementary School.
