An Oregon WARN notice was filed with the state’s HECC by a large US bank, revealing that the bank is laying off employees in the state.

The announcement of the layoffs of 95 employees at an Oregon corporate office was made public by Wells Fargo.

Large-scale layoffs must be announced at least 60 days in advance in order to comply with the Worker Adjustment and Retraining (WARN) Act.

The Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission has been notified of the impending layoffs at Wells Fargo through the proper channels.
