According to RNcareers.org 9th annual Nursing School Review, Cal State Long Beach’s School of Nursing has been named the best nursing program in California.

For the purpose of creating its merit-based rankings, RNCareers.org assessed over 1,700 nursing programs. A few of the variables are program accreditation, tuition prices, academic achievement, teacher credentials, student happiness, program options, career results, and school reputation.

The Beach School of Nursing continuously receives praise and produces excellent program results. The rigorous preparation that students get is shown in the school’s nearly 100% first-time pass record on the NCLEX-RN over the previous five years, and the school’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing was named the top nursing degree in California.

“We are honored to be recognized once more for the many years of outstanding work done by the faculty, staff, and students at the School of Nursing,” stated Monica Lounsbery, dean of the College of Health and Human Services.

She also mentioned that the school recently started an online program that allows registered nurses to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which will increase student access to “Beach Nursing” and help California meet its growing nursing shortage.

She claimed the main reason for Long Beach State’s high enrollment rate is its “extraordinary reputation for delivering academic excellence.”
