According to authorities, a man in Galveston County is being charged as a result of an investigation into fraudulent activities related to roofing.

In a statement, it was reported that Michael Kennedy, a 41-year-old resident of Dickinson, was accused of committing a serious crime of damaging property.

Kennedy, a worker at Coast Guard Roofing, allegedly sabotaged a roof to deceitfully assert storm damage and submit a deceitful insurance request, according to officials.
