Cheery News Is Here! Texas Costco Announces Major Overhaul Impacting All Members

WFCN –

A lot of big changes are coming to all 38 Costco shops in Texas, as well as to all of its current members.

You can probably continue to anticipate the constant rearrangement of products and aisles even if you have mastered your favorite store’s layout. Costco has a lot of potential for change, but none of those adjustments will include providing a uniform experience.

Costco offers a variety of membership tiers, including executive, gold star, and business.

Even though I’ve never been a business member, my wife and I do a little risk cost analysis each year when it’s renewal time to decide whether to renew at the executive or gold star level.

What are your thoughts on these modifications?

The executive level is still twice as expensive as the gold star level, even with this first membership fee rise since 2017. Getting cash back is the main perk of becoming an executive member.

You essentially pay for the higher-level membership at the executive level, according to the argument, because the cash back usually covers the price point difference.

Significant New Changes Affect All Costco Members in Texas

I do have a very cool hack for you, regardless of whether you are currently a member or not. Based on my personal experience, there are additional incentives to upgrade to executive if you renew as a gold star if your renewal is due after September 1st, regardless of your current membership level.

You may save money on a Costco membership until August 31st if you sign up before the deal ends, and you’ll still have almost a full year to enjoy all the savings before you’ll have to renew at the new price.
