Is this the fourth time?
A 27-25 victory against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night guaranteed the Buffalo Bills a spot in the AFC championship game and set up a fourth postseason encounter between quarterback Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City.
Since 2020, Mahomes has defeated the Bills 3-0 in the playoffs, including once in the championship game and twice in the divisional round. Allen has defeated the Mahomes-led Chiefs four times more than any other NFL quarterback during the regular season.
A trip to the Super Bowl, which the Bills haven’t made since their four consecutive appearances from the 1990–93 season, is on the line.
After Washington’s NFC final game against Philadelphia on Sunday, the Bills and Chiefs play in the late game at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Rams
Saquon Barkley continues to make history with one of the greatest seasons ever
The Eagles progress to the NFC championship game against the Commanders after Saquon Barkley rushes for more than 200 yards against the Rams once more.
Buffalo finished with a 10-0 home record with a close victory over the Ravens.
Allen acknowledged his teammates on the opposing side of the field during his CBS postgame interview.
He said, “How about that Buffalo Bills defense?” This squad has been told all year long that we lack talent, are too tiny, are unable to stop the run, and are not competitive enough. We simply focus and work diligently.
In the meanwhile, the Chiefs want to make NFL history by becoming the first team to win three straight Super Bowls. The game will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9th this year.
