The shocking closing of a dessert company in Georgia comes after more than 15 years at the historic location, according to sources.

After more than 15 years of service to the Atlanta community, Peterbrooke Chocolatier has decided to close its doors.

The Peachtree Forum site was closed, according to a Facebook post by the company’s owners, Geoffrey Wilson and Scott Gottuso.

“We regret to inform you that we will be closing our doors at The Forum in 30 days,” the store announced on June 27.

“As we get ready to part ways, we want to give you one more chance to save big on our clearance sale items by following us for exclusive deals and discounts.

As they continued, they asked customers to submit their greatest recollections of the shop in the comments section, expressing their gratitude for all the pleasant memories and support over the years.

In response to the post, many customers expressed their regret at the store’s closing and their fond memories of shopping for desserts there.

“This is terrible news. An individual expressed their undying devotion to the establishment and its long-standing residents.

Your departure will be felt by all of us. We have a wealth of wonderful memories that span decades. You have brought me happiness and tenderness for a very long time. somebody else also contributed.

“You will be missed by many people!” A third person reflected on the many happy memories they had made at your shop, from moms’ night out chocolate making to summer camps.

In addition to gelato and gift baskets, the dessert shop offers European-style chocolate delicacies. Chocolate popcorn and strawberries wrapped in chocolate made by hand are the store’s claim to fame.

Even when their one and only store in Georgia shuts down, the dessert chain will have 25 sites in Alabama and Florida.

Peterbrooke Chocolatier Atlanta in the Forum is having a massive sale in the days leading up to its permanent closure on July 25.

From July 16th to the 24th, customers can save 50% to 75% on most things at the store.

“Take advantage of this limited time offer on our most popular items at prices you won’t find anywhere else,” the shop announced.

Starting with Oreos and Moving on to Sipping Chocolate. Sale does not include: Macaroons, Popcorn, Containers, Decorations, or Fruit.
