Deputies fired fire on an alleged assault suspect in Rosemead on Sunday, leading to his arrest.
According to department officials, the incident occurred at approximately 12:55 p.m. when deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Temple City Station were called to allegations of a deadly weapon assault in the vicinity of Walnut Grove Avenue and Garvey Avenue.
When deputies arrived, they spoke with the suspect. They started shooting at the man at one point, but he was not hit.
