Patriotism in Ohio has increased from last year, when the state ranked 31st with a score of 38.65, and it has returned to its 2022 standing of 29th with a score of 40.51, indicating a rise in patriotism.

WalletHub evaluated every state in the US based on a variety of indicators, such as the percentage of adult voters in the 2020 presidential election, the average number of people who enlisted in the military, and the number of veterans for every 1,000 adults. On a scale from 1 (the least patriotic) to 100 (the most patriotic), each was evaluated.

“The most patriotic states have a lot of residents who serve or have served in the armed forces, high voter turnout during elections, and a high share of the population volunteering with national or local organizations,” declared Cassandra Happe, an analyst for WalletHub. The top states are located in very diverse geographic locations, so patriotism isn’t focused in just one place.
