Students at Fillmore High School moved from campus, bomb squad responds after alleged threat

Police claimed that after receiving a call on Tuesday about a suspected bomb threat at Fillmore High School, kids were escorted off campus and bomb squad investigators were dispatched.

According to the Fillmore Police Department, kids were being moved from the school located at 555 Central Avenue in the Ventura County city, while investigators are unsure of the veracity of the purported threat. Following a call indicating that there was a bomb on campus, the school is taking precautions.

Just after 1 p.m., police reported that six patrol cars were on the high school campus and that bomb squad investigators had been dispatched to the location.
