Following a tragic stabbing in Lancaster, authorities carried out additional investigation on Saturday.
The event happened in the 1700 block of E. Avenue J. on Friday at approximately 4:16 p.m. At the site, deputies discovered a stabbing victim who was taken to a hospital, where he subsequently passed away.
According to deputies, one person of interest has been taken into custody and a “edged weapon” was found at the site.
The inquiry is still under progress. The Homicide Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information to call (323) 890-5500.
