Brush fire breaks out in Granada Hills amid destructive LA County wildfires

As catastrophic, large wildfires continue to burn in other parts of Los Angeles County, a brush fire in Granada Hills burned through two to three acres of brush on Friday due to “erratic winds,” according to fire officials.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reported in an alert at 10:25 a.m. that no residences were at risk and that the fire had begun close to 17278 W. Sesnon Blvd. According to local authorities, the Palisades and Eaton fires, which have burned over 2,000 structures and claimed at least ten lives, are among the other flames that are now putting a strain on firefighting resources.
